American Indian Made In North Carolina recently launched

American Indian Made in North Carolina was created to assist native artists living in remote areas to reach new customers while still taking the time to make each object with care. The store’s purpose is to be the online marketing arm for the artists, who love to be creating, painting or sculpting in their studios.  Each item is unique.  The store reflects the beautiful natural surroundings of North Carolina that native peoples have lived alongside for centuries.
Artists: The store launched in August 2015 with the help of five artists: Jessica Dingle, Karen Harley, Senora Lynch, Tabitha Jacobs-Polanco and Shelia Epps Wilson.   If you are an artist in a State or Federally recognized tribe and want to join the store in the future, please fill out the application.
Tribes of NC: The State of North Carolina has eight recognized tribes: Coharie, Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, Haliwa-Saponi, Lumbee, Meherrin, Occaneechi-Saponi, Sappony and Waccamaw Siouan.  For more information about the North Carolina tribes and their locations visit the Tribes page.
