Five Touch Spa and Salon aims to grow its business in Wilson

Through the Entrepreneur Technical Assistance Program, E-TAP, NCGrowth worked with Five Touch Spa and Salon owner Tawanda Auston over the summer. Meisha McDaniel, a dual Kenan-Flagler MBA and City and Regional Planning student worked directly with Tawanda to help her achieve her goal to grow the business. NCGrowth provided Five Touch Spa and Salon research and recommendations pertaining to human resource management. During this project Meisha learned about recruiting and retaining talent in this part of the state and some of the unique compensation considerations that spa and salon owners face.
