Emily Edmonds worked with the town of Garysburg in Northampton County to develop a feasibility study for a food hub in an abandoned school building. Emily is a Masters of Public Administration candidate in the online program and an economic development analyst for NCGrowth.

This project allowed me to expand my existing knowledge of food systems development into food hubs, and to become familiar with farm and food issues in eastern North Carolina.
