Meisha McDaniel

Meisha McDaniel is a dual Master’s degree candidate within the Department of City and Regional Planning and the MBA program at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, where she is a member of the Consortium Fellowship and the Net Impact Club. In addition to joining the Kenan Institute Economic Development Analyst team within NCGrowth, Ms. McDaniel also works with the Development Finance Institute at the UNC School of Government. Prior to entering UNC, she worked within the nonprofit sector for several years, specializing diverse topics such as, rural community development, food security, climate change mitigation, and grantmaking. Ms. McDaniel is passionate about sustainable and equitable approaches to economic development and is seeking a career in community development finance.
