North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Nash and Edgecombe Counties are hosting the 2nd annual Teen Entrepreneur Summer Bootcamp from July 14 – 24 at the Ag Livestock Arena in Rocky Mount. This program focuses on exposing students between the ages of 15-18 to entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial process. During the bootcamp, students network with entrepreneurs, analyze community needs to identify unmet opportunities for providing products or services, and explore business resources available to them. By the end of bootcamp, students will have written a business plan and pitched their ideas to a panel of judges. The Kenan Institute is a sponsor of the event which will host 30 rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Nash and Edgecombe Counties.
