Taylor Fish Farm (TFF) is a sustainable tilapia farm owned by siblings Valee Taylor and Renee Stewart in Cedar Grove, NC. By using a recirculating aquaculture system, TFF is able to provide clean, healthy and great tasting tilapia to its customers. Their state-of-the art facility is located in Cedar Grove, North Carolina and is one of the few sustainable aquaculture operations in the United States.
Taylor Fish Farm participated in NCGrowth’s E-TAP program with funding through Technology  Commercialization Carolina. They received assistance with business development through targeted research and outreach to potential distributors and clients. The project produced an overview of relevant food distributors of varying sizes including key features and a business development plan to optimize current business, remove barriers to in-progress contracts, and identify new opportunities for the future with special focus on TTF’s unique, innovative water filtration system. The resulting plan will help guide TFF’s future business development decisions.
